CUSTOM Wood Drying AND STERILIZATION SERVICES
Hello! We are Arbor Custom Kilns. We offer kiln drying and sterilization services for residential and commercial clients looking to dry their dimensional lumber, slabs, and cookies by utilizing an iDry Plus vacuum kiln and monitoring moisture content with a Lignomat Moisture Meter. We can dry wood up to 16 feet in length and 5 feet in width. Our kilns can handle load sizes up to 4,000 board feet (load size varies depending on the thickness and species of wood).
Vacuum Kiln drying AND STERILIZATION SERVICES
The iDry kiln utilizes vacuum technology to lower the temperature at which water evaporates to dry and sterilize wood. The vacuum also pulls the water from the core of the wood to the shell which is great for drying large slabs. This vacuum technology allows the wood to be dried faster and at a lower temperature which minimizes degrade and ensures the quality of the wood while also de-bugging and sterilizing the wood, making the wood safe to be inside your home.

We are a husband and wife owned small batch wood kiln operation near Greenville, Michigan. Centrally located between Kent, Montcalm, Ionia and Newaygo counties in West Michigan. We are minutes off US 131 Highway and M57, a short drive from Grand Rapids, Greenville, Rockford, Lowell, Cedar Springs, and Belding.

KILN DRYING AND STERILIZATION
Utilizing an iDry Plus Vacuum Kiln and monitoring moisture content with a Liqnomat Moisture Meter, we can kiln dry and sterilize your wood up to 16 feet in length and 5 feet in width. Load sizes up to 4,000 Board Feet.
SURFACE PLANING
We are also able to surface plane your lumber up to 20″ wide so that you can get started on your wood projects right away.
